The Must List: Entertainment
How to have fun in Branson like an insider.
Making your Branson plans for this fall? Keep an eye on October. The Texas Tenors—a trio of sweet-singin’ Texans you might recognize from America’s Got Talent—will be at the Starlite Theatre (3115 W. St. Hwy. 76) from September 28 to October 23, six days a week.
Be a Jeerk! No, we’re not suggesting you treat people badly, we want you to go see Jeerk, the Swedish-import dance-and-energy group, playing at the Hughes Brothers Theatre (3425 W. St. Hwy. 76).
Except late in the year, when Andy Williams is doing his famous Christmas show, the headliner at his Andy Williams Moon River Theatre (2500 W. St. Hwy. 76) is Paul Revere and the Raiders, who are the subjects of a local Facebook drive to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
The Showboat Branson Belle (4800 W. St. Hwy. 165) is a great attraction, but the talent on board is almost as stirring as the scenery to port and starboard. Among the attractions are Christopher James, a hilarious comedian, and Todd Oliver, with his famous talking dogs.
