New at the Starlite Theatre
Talent turnover at a theater venue is not a rare concept in Branson. Sometimes entertainers find a better deal, build or buy their own theatres... it's a business after all.
Such is life at the Starlite Theatre. The home of the Liverpool Legends, a Beatles tribute act, for several years, the LL are gone now, but the "Star" in the theater's name still fits. The big name addition is Bill Medley, formerly half of The Righteous Brothers (read what it was like for him to record and live with that long-standing hit here), who is joined by his daughter McKenna. Other acts include America's Got Talent alums the Texas Tenors—Marcus Collins, JC Fisher and John Hagen.
The last exciting addition is Cirque Imagination's Montage show, which premiered in Branson last fall and now moves to the Starlite.
Returning for another season are the World Famous Platters, and Barbara Fairchild's Sunday Morning Service, starting in May.

From the Branson Chamber of Commerce:
New to the Starlite Theatre this season is Branson favorite Bill Medley who will make you cry when he sings the Righteous Brothers’ 1965 hit, “Unchained Melody.’” He’ll be joined by his daughter, McKenna Medley. Also new are the Texas Tenors. Marcus Collins, JC Fisher and John Hagen placed fourth in last year’s “America’s Got Talent.” Fisher said he was born in Springfield and grew up in Pleasant Hope where he graduated from high school in 1992. They bill themselves as “cowboy roots with classical sound.” Their album, “The Texas Tenors,” ranges from “Mountain Music” to “O Sole Mio.” They also do a version of “Unchained Melody.” Perhaps we’ll see a sing-off between the Tenors and Bill Medley. Also new is Cirque Imagination’s “Montage” featuring former Cirque du Soleil performers. The Platters will be back with Lawrence “Rooster” Randle, Eddie Stovall, Willie Nash, Yolanda Fletcher and Andre Shepard. It’s the group’s 14th season in Branson. The crowds love these guys, and slow-dance in the aisles. Also, Barbara Fairchild’s Sunday Morning Service returns in May at 10 a.m.
