Sweet Eats, Gourmet Treats
Visit these sweet shops for the most decadent of Branson souvenirs: Delicious confections.
Looking for a place to satisfy that sweet tooth? These gourmet dessert eateries and gift shops are a great way to munch and share your Branson vacation experience with everyone back home. You’ll want to buy more than enough, though, because these sweet eats just might disappear before you make it back from vacation.
The Fudge Shop
417-334-5270, intersection of Business 76 and 65, 106 S. 2nd St. Branson
The Fudge Shop makes all their own candy in the store, just as they have since 1969. They take pride in making candy six days a week, each day with a specific candy goal in mind. If you visit in the morning, you’ll more than likely see them creating yummy treats like “Fool’s Gold”, a sponge candy that tastes (and looks) like peanut brittle, but without the peanuts.
Our Favorite: Chocolate Pecan Fudge, it’s the most popular for a reason—it’s made fresh every other day. But you have to try the “Fool’s Gold” too, it’s delish!

Chocolat
417-332-2462, State Hwy 165 across from Stone Hill Winery, handcraftedchocolat.com
Chocolat is known for it’s beautifully colored and fantastically flavored artisan chocolate bon bons. These little treats are a fun surprise, coming in all sorts of different shapes and designs. Though the artisan chocolates are the most popular item, the store also has other indulgences, including chocolate caramel-covered apples and chocolate strawberries.
Our Favorite: 15-piece box of the Artisans. This gorgeous display of Chocolat goodness is beautifully presented in a clear-top box. And it’s newsworthy! The treat was featured in this year’s Grammy VIP gift bags!
Northwoods Candy Emporium
Branson Landing, 417-332-1010, northwoodscandy.com
This family-owned store on Branson Landing’s northernmost block is 2,600 square feet of candy with a rustic northwoods theme. Specialty items include store-made truffles and hand-dipped marshmallows, pretzels and Rice Krispie bars.
Our Favorite: We love chocolate, but the Jelly Belly jellybean wall is where we’re headed. They have every flavor. Every one. Heaven.
Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory
417-337-7623, 403 Branson Landing Blvd., rmcf.com
The Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory is a delicious candy destination that still hand-dips their products. Forty percent of the candy they make in-store; the rest comes from their home factory in Durango, Colorado.
Our Favorite: Hand-dipped candy. It’s definitely worth it to stop by and sample every variety.
Harry and David
417-335-5600, Tanger Outlet Mall, harryanddavid.com
Harry and David is best-known for its Royal Riviera Pears and other gourmet fruit, but also has chocolates, truffles, popcorn, dips, relishes, and more.
Our Favorite: We have to go with the Moose Munch popcorn-chocolate-caramel-nutty goodness. The Munch comes in all varieties, from sweet to savory.
The Fudgery
417-337-9899, Tanger Outlet Mall, fudgeryfudge.com
Talk about a sweet place! the Fudgery in the Tanger Outlet Mall is a shop and a show. Fudge is hand-turned right there in the store on a granite slab. The fudge is all-natural and worth the song the employees might ask you to sing to get it.
Our Favorite: The freshest fudge they have. It’s made every day, so it shouldn’t be hard to find. Go with chocolate nut or chocolate peanut butter.
