Through November 20, the Ben & Jerry's location on Branson Landing is holding a canned food and toiletries drive to benefit Branson's Salvation Army. Bring in an item and you'll get a free scoop of your favorite flavor of ice cream (including the seasonal Pumpkin Pie). [Insert slobbering sounds here.]

The Branson Landing Ben & Jerry's is open noon to 8 p.m. (weekdays) and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. (weekends).

Trade Spinach for Ice Cream

How can you beat this offer? Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Shop at the Branson Landing Marina is holding a canned food and toiletries drive through Nov. 20 to benefit Branson’s Salvation Army. Bring in an item and get a free scoop of your favorite flavor, said manager Michelle Olson.

New for the season is Pumpkin Pie ice cream. Other popular flavors are Oatmeal Cookie and Butter Pecan, she said. The shop is open daily from noon to 8 p.m., and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekends.

Bring canned foods or items such as soap, shampoo, toothpaste and toothbrushes, suggested Capt. Jody Dalberg of the Salvation Army. Canned meats including chicken and tuna are a good way to provide protein, he said. Anything that makes a complete meal such as spaghetti and sauce or macaroni and cheese are good.
