The Love Boat

What’s the greatest Titanic love story? Yours.

The Love Boat

Branson’s Strip will hardly ever be mistaken for England—not to mention the middle of the North Atlantic—but when you drive up upon the Titanic Branson, it’s easy to think you’ve done just that. Towering above the Strip—complete with an actual iceberg looming near its hull—the Titanic Museum Attraction is the ultimate scaled replica of the famous ship, and a magnet for fans of the 1997 movie, Titanic.

But it’s so much more than a museum. It’s a venue where the most romantic of desires can be fulfilled. For example:

• Couples can renew their vows on the steps of the Grand Staircase. Almost 2,000 couples renewed their vows in 2008, each of them presided over by the ship’s captain. Contact Titanic for details.
• Want the wedding Jack and Rose never had? Titanic could just be the ultimate destination wedding! To book the Titanic for your special day, contact marketing director Kristy Merritt at 417-334-9500.
• There’s plenty of fun for little girls (and boys), too. Titanic hosts Princess or Captain Birthday parties, where the honoree and his or her guests can meet the crew and experience the ship like first-class passengers. Reservations start at $30.
Of course there are tons of other special activities year-round at Titanic Branson, including ice- and wood-carving contests and exhibitions. For a full schedule of events go to titanicbranson.com.
