Downtown Branson actually has two Hilton hotels, the Promenade (mentioned above) and the Branson Hilton Convention Center (200 E. Main St., 417-336-5400), with luxe business accommodations and the excellent Trofi Restaurant & Lounge.

Bed and Breakfast tip: The Bradford Inn (3590 St. Hwy 265, 800-357-1456, bradfordinn.net) is a stellar Bed and Breakfast, with a great view of Branson. Request “The Eaves”—it’s the perfect room for a romantic weekend away, hot tub included.
