The Must List: Dining
Eat in Branson like an insider.
Brunch is something we can all get behind, particularly when it’s perfect for a family and doesn’t cost an arm and a leg (just $21.95 for adults). That’s what you’ll find at the Keeter Center’s Sunday brunch (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.). Bloody Mary and Mimosa fans will have to go elsewhere, but that doesn’t take anything away; there is a room full of delicious entrees, salads, breakfast items and desserts, and a host of pleasant College of the Ozarks students at your service. It’s heaven on a plate. keetercenter.edu
Hungry for a more traditional sit-down breakfast? So are we. There are a number of charming, locally owned spots to eat breakfast in Branson, including Clocker’s (downtown), Sadie’s, The Shack, Billy Gail’s and more.
Level 2 Steakhouse is one of Branson’s newest fine-dining destinations. Located inside the super-fine Branson Hilton, the steaks are cooked in a radiant oven (it makes the outside pleasingly crispy) and served with a la carte sides, so you can eat whatever combo of beef and extras you like. Stop by Clear, the bar and lounge, before heading for your room.
Want a family-friendly Italian spot in the Heartland? Never fear: Florentina’s is here! From the owners of Montana Mike’s, one of Branson’s best-loved family steakhouses with two locations, comes this decidedly entertaining take on fine Italian dining.
Like corned beef? Eat at Chester’s Restaurant. That is all.
